Pride Parade

A march down the historic Ocean City boardwalk,
rainbow flags flying high

Launched in 2023,

the Ocean City Pride Parade was a symbolic celebration. The first Pride march in town, and on the iconic boardwalk, it was a tremendous success with over 300 participants—helping show that ALL are welcome in this beach town, and that there is space for the queer community to gather, celebrate, and be ourselves here.

The Parade is now set to be an annual event on the last Sunday in June. It is a simple, all-ages, ADA-accessible walk/ride from the inlet parking lot up the boardwalk to 2nd street and back, with sponsor giveaways and goodies, a photo wall, and of course, lots of gay joy.

FAQs below!

Is it rain or shine?
We will be monitoring the weather and posting an update here and on social media the morning of the parade!

What does the parade entail?
This is a simple walking celebration—a gathering of joy, a chance to dress up and do your thing down the boardwalk.
What else? There will be a photo wall plus tables with partner and sponsor goodies and refreshments at the meeting point, so you can get all your OC Pride Parade memories and merch.
How do I get there/ where can I park?
If you are driving, the inlet parking lot where we meet will have plenty of room; please note this is paid parking, as is all nearby other street parking. If you are taking public transportation, the Ocean City Bus runs all day and stops nearest at South Division Street. Biking is also available; there are racks on the boardwalk to lock them (you may NOT ride the bike after 10am on the boardwalk).
Can I drive or ride a bike during the parade?
No cars or bikes. This is a walking (or wheelchair/motorized scooter) only event. We do not have a permit for floats either.
What should I bring?
Bring whatever you're comfortable carrying while walking; there will not be a place to store bags or personal items.
What should I wear?
Anything you want! Whatever shows your pride spirit, from a fabulous 'fit to all-over-glitter to something comfy. This is your celebration—you do you!
How do I become a sponsor or volunteer?
